The Stranger Inside
and other Stories

Two men with an unconventional relationship and a lust for hunting discover a monster in their basement. A VW Bug trapped in the wrong time turns a man into an animalistic creature when he glimpses his primal past. Given the ability to create anything from her mind, a woman accidentally renders an alternate version of herself. Don't miss these stories and other stories of dark and strange occurrences.

Aldo used to be a part of the nightlife in the big city. But since becoming a Buddhist Monk, he's made it his mission to free the city of samsara and the cycle of endless suffering. He knows Dharma teachings take a long time to learn. But killing people, that gives the immediate gift of rebirth. And Aldo hopes to fill the entire monestary garden with city folk before the monks awake for morning Tsampa and the forbidden ritual of gCod begins.

Note: gCod (or Chod) is practiced by a few and does exist in Tibetan Buddhism. However, this story is a fictional account.  CONTAINS Gore & Sex Scenes!

About
About
IMG_1350.jpg

Sandra grew up on a small farm in Central New York. She drove a tractor when she was five and listened to country music in an old Chevy while packing Dad's pipe on the way to town. It was the 70's. After working on the farm, she would lie in bed and write poems about nature.

As a queer teen in a small town in the 80's, she wrote very dark and sinister poetry in an attempt to work through feelings of isolation and psychological turmoil. In the 90's, she moved to Albany for school and taught a companion class on EcoFeminism after being selected to teach WSS 210: Introduction to Feminism by the Women's Studies Teaching Collective at SUNY Albany. By 2000, she was living in San Francisco, creating newsletters for the Women's Spirituality program at the California Institute of Integral Studies, where she received a Master's Degree in Asian and Comparative Studies. Alice Walker gave her class graduation commencement speech. While in graduate school, she worked for the famous A Different Light Bookstore on Castro Street, the center of queer America.

Her favorite authors are Ray Bradbury, Flannery O'Connor, and H.G. Wells. She writes horror because she believes in the cathartic properties of writing and how facing fears in a controlled environment can produce a sense of relief for the psyche. Her science fiction and dark fiction writing leans toward questioning reality and normative assumptions.

She loves fishing, kayaking, and her cats. She writes when she isn't working, taking random math classes, or walking a stream looking for trout.

A woman takes her life back the only way she knows how. This is a story about the horrors of being on a slave ship and how sometimes the indifference of nature is less cruel than the choices men make.
